What is MAC?
Mines Activities Council is the sole programming board on campus responsible for planning events like E-Days and Homecoming, alongside Oktoberfest, tailgates, ticket sales, movie nights, and so much more! We create memorable and fun events through our team made up of 11 students. Our goal is to foster community and provide students with a place to connect with others.
Meet MAC
Jessica Feng
President
Leads an 11-student team responsible for planning and executing campus programming events for audiences ranging from small groups to 2,000+ students.
Becca Foster
Homecoming & Outreach Chair
Oversees the planning and execution of MAC’s Homecoming celebrations. Coordinating events such as the bonfire, street fair, tailgate, and other campus traditions. Responsibilities include leading a team of committee chairs, managing event logistics, and creating memorable experiences that bring the Mines community together. Also focuses on building connections between MAC, the Mines community, and the greater Golden area. Responsibilities include preparing annual allocation packets and quarterly budget reports, collaborating with local businesses and campus organizations, as well as working with student government to support engaging student experiences and strengthen community relationships. Liaison between USG and MAC!

Responsible for planning on campus movie nights for students to enjoy.

E-Days Chair
Oversees planning for E-Days, this includes concerts, ore-cart pull, and more.

Athletics & Wellness Chair
Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being across campus.

Off-Campus Chair
Responsible for planning events/ticket sales that allow students to attend shows, sports games, venues, etc.
